Spinning at Perihelion

There's an ebb and flow to life.
Sometimes you pray for the victim,
sometimes you prey for the rapist.

Sometimes your best friend dies
and doesn't even have
the grace to leave town.

The trick is telling when a
rocky road ahead means
ice cream or
blisters.

Sometimes all you need is a
purple triangle and
a really fast pair of nikes
to catch the comet.
