Small Conflict Averted;
Peace Resumes In Backyard

AP(Associated Poets) - A conflict was sucessfully averted in a backyard this afternoon as two decided not to participate in a territorial conflict. The cats, who have been identified as "Julian" and "Wednesday", found ways to settle their differences near the "doghouse" area of the backyard. The conflict, which lasted about 2 minutes, with both cats going their ways without so much as a raised hair, according to witnesses. Both appeared to be content with the decision. When consulted, both cats responded with half-closed eyes and loud purring.
