Former President Bush Goes Home After Hip Surgery

"Right on!" said former prexy George Bush Sr. as he split from the Mayo Clinic to head back to his pad in Texas. Dr. Feelgood had just completed a hip replacement surgery on the former hep cat. What was replaced remains unclear, but what was certain was that the Mayo Clinic is some seriously swank digs for the ailing jet set.

"Mr. Bush's hip is gone," was the trip the Dr. laid on the press during a rap session this afternoon, "way gone." Onlooking wanna-be's, clad in black turtlenecks and berets, greeted the news with snapping fingers and a cacophony of angular, modernistic bongo rhythms. A younger, more heavily pierced onlooker was overheard to say, "check out the wax slacks on that lames-bane. Let's make on the flippity-flop somewhere else!"
