Climate Change
a power ballad of global proportions

your warmth for me cooled i reckon
about when the north wind turned south
like the husky whose coat didn't thicken
or the way ice wouldn't melt in your mouth

global change, global change
the world's so hot, but she's not
global change, very strange
our love is shot, I'm distraught
we should rethink our declarations
the cloudburst now barely drizzles
maybe we ought to switch stations
your passion no longer sizzles

warming is a global phenomenon
but you and i just can't make it
in bed you leave too many clothes on
it's so scorching you should be stark naked

no grounds for either to stay
